Founding Statement

We are Iranians in the diaspora—independent and diverse in background and belief, yet resolutely united in condemning Israel’s unprovoked and illegal military aggression against Iran on 13 June 2025, while Iran-US nuclear negotiations were still on-going. Israel’s campaign of mass terror, assassination and bombing was actively backed by the U.S. and supported by its European allies.

Just over a week later, the Trump administration launched an illegal and unprovoked attack against three Iranian nuclear sites, under the false pretext of a nuclear threat from Iran, a claim that is blatantly contradicted by the US National Intelligence as well as the International Atomic Energy Agency. These military strikes by two nuclear armed states against a non-nuclear state highlight a profound nuclear hypocrisy. The US actions have grossly violated both the US law and the US obligations under Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT).

The recent aggressions against Iran follow over 20 months of well-documented and live-streamed US-Israeli genocide against Palestinians. They epitomise what the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg, which convicted the Nazi leaders after World War II, declared as the “supreme international crime” because it contains the accumulated evil of all other crimes.

Yet, once again, Western media have obediently justified this atrocity through lies and distortions about non-existent nuclear weaponization. All this manufacturing of consent echoes the propaganda that paved the way for the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq.

It is essential to recognise that Iran is home to some of the oldest Jewish communities and best preserved heritage sites in the world. Our condemnation of Israeli government actions is not about faith, race, or ethnicity; it is a principled stand against state-sponsored violence and oppression. We reject any attempts to conflate criticism of the Israeli state with hostility toward Jewish individuals or communities.

We vow to resist this imposed war on Iran by Israel and the US through every legal means—including mass protests, petitions, legal challenges, and relentless public advocacy. We will expose the media’s complicity, mobilise global opposition, and stand unwavering until this criminal aggression is fully and decisively defeated. Our homeland, our families, and the very principles of justice demand nothing less.

We call on all anti-war and international peace movements to stand with Iran and its people.
